'Long Live The Boleyn' Exhibition

An exhibition of prints from photographer Freddie Bonfanti

Freddie Bonfanti is a London based photographer, West Ham supporter and season ticket holder. During the last year at Upton Park he decided to start documenting the match day routine inside and outside the ground, trying to archive as many photos as he could, knowing that it would all end very soon.

The iconic black and white shot of the ground, taken from his seat in the Bobby Moore Lower after the Liverpool match in the FA cup, was and still is considered to be the most iconic photograph representing the fans during the 2015/16 season.

'Nasty Women UK' Exhibition & Event Series

Nasty Women is a global art movement that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, and abortion rights. With over 40 events across the globe Nasty Women Exhibitions also serve to support organizations defending these rights and to be a platform for organization and resistance.

Nasty Women UK is an intersectional movement that aims to bring together people of all genders, races, faiths and LGBTQIA identities through the platform of the arts. In September 2017, Nasty Women UK hosts its first event at Stour Space in London: an art exhibition and weekend of talks, comedy, spoken word, live music and workshops in support of the charity End Violence Against Women.

Nasty Women UK is part of a Global Art Movement founded in New York in January 2017 in reaction to the growing misogyny and rampant intolerance towards marginal social groups that has become ubiquitous in the media as well as in government. The name ‘Nasty Women’ comes from a comment Donald Trump made about Hillary Clinton, interrupting her during a televised debate to mutter the insult into his microphone. The term was instantly reclaimed by thousands of women across social media, and has since become a rallying call for those who stand for gender equality and equity.

'A Spoonful Of Charcoal' Exhibition

A Spoonful of Charcoal presents a new body of works which builds on Cristina BanBan's ongoing talk series of daily life scenes. Her work speaks in a language of bold figures, textures and layered compositions, embodying a unique vocabulary of forms. BanBan's painting stresses the subjectivity of personal experiences through an imagery that inevitably reveals an autobiographical story.
